How the team was built

The Sarios Football Club was founded in August of 1988 by Scott Hall and was initially sponsored by ITT Financial Services. ITT eventually went out of business and Accent Photography took over sponsorship for the 1990 season. Accent owner and linebacker Mike (Daniel Snyder) Waala said at the time "I expect to win several championships and I will pay whatever price it will take to do so". Waala got the coveted "Owner of the Year" trophy that season as the team went on to win it's first WBAAFL championship. Then in 1994, after a couple of dismal third place finishes, a disgruntled Waala decided to sell the team to fellow player and team savior Don (Goop) Wolf. Wolf named the team after his bar the 'Park Avenue Pub' due to the fact that most of the teams players basically lived there. After several successful years, Wolf and co-owner Pat Kent (who played for the rival Schultz Homes team), decided to sell the business due to the increased value the team had given it. The new owner of the tavern made a strong bid to keep the team, but team manager Scott Hall elected to go with the highest bidder, which was a new restaurant in Jackson named Sarios. The investment paid immediate dividends for Sarios owners as the team went on to win the league championship in each of the remaining 6 years of the franchises existence.

The West Bend Athletic Association Football League started in 1969 (It was run by the West Bend Recreation Department). It is a little known fact that former Packer great Lionel Aldridge played in the league in the early 70's, only a few years after he won two Super Bowls under Vince Lombardi.
